    What is Palo Santo?
How to Cleanse with Palo Santo

See our Entire Palo Santo Fragrance Line

Native to Central and South America, the Palo Santo Tree (  Bursera graveolens )  can be found growing wild among the dry, coastal forests from Mexico to Ecuador.

Since the time of the Inca, the power of the Palo Santo tree has been respected by South American civilizations and employed trough traditional healing rituals. When burned as incense, the dried fallen wood of theses trees emit a white fragrant smoke which is used to ward off evil &  purify the spirit of "mala energía" ( bad energy ).

Our Palo Santo is wild harvested from a small farm within Ecuador that is committed to reforestation efforts, community involvement and sustainable practices. In the past 4 years, they’ve planted over 10,000 Palo Santo trees, and in 2020 they aim to plant over 4,000 native species within the local dry tropical forests from which Palo Santo comes from.

The use of Palo Santo is an ancestral healing art, with roots in South American wisdom. Please use our products mindfully and with respect for the land and people where it originates.

    Beautiful Palo Santo

I purchased Monarch and Palo Santo and they’re both beautiful. The fragrances arrived quickly in careful, pretty packaging. Mason was both generous and helpful. A lovely business. Will return again. Thank you

    5 stars

Another perfect transaction. Highest quality ingredients and customer service. Shipped on time and wrapped beautifully. This is one of several from Mizu that I own, love and replace when I run out. The fact that I actually use his scents until they are gone is amazing, (I'm known for using a scent for a few weeks and then forgetting about it), and that I keep coming back is a testament in and of itself. 5 stars in every category.

    Best scent ever

I am very sensitive to perfume of any kind and most give me a headache and feel toxic. I’ve always looked for natural oils that could be my go to. I saw this in a really cute shop in Marfa, TX and was immediately obsessed. It smells exactly like palo santo which is my favorite insense but I stopped buying because of the harvesting practices- I love that this seems sustainable. The thought that goes into this and the packaging is amazing, like getting a personal gift in the mail. I will be trying more scents and products soon!
